Herga expands apprentice talent in Engineering Department

The development of new engineering talent is really important to the success of any business, at Herga, we recognise this and now we are expanding our team to welcome Bradley Brame.

Having recently won the West Suffolk Innovation award the timing could not be better to introduce the next generation of engineering talent into the business.

Here is Bradley’s story…

Who am I?

My name is Bradley Brame and I am 22 years old. I live with my fiancé and two step sons, and I have a third son on the way. I am a big technology fan and love to know the latest gadgets. I’m a quick learner and find problem solving rewarding. I don’t like to give up until I find solutions and I am keen to give everything a go. I work well in teams as well as solo and I’m always willing to give a helping hand.”

Why did I choose an Engineering Apprenticeship?

I wanted to get into an apprenticeship as I see it as a great opportunity to, not only to learn new skills in an accomplished industry, but to also gain qualifications whilst doing so. I have always found engineering interesting and have wanted to widen my knowledge for some time but could not find the right place until now.”

Why HERGA?

I applied for Herga Technology because I want to be a part of something that can make a difference and help others, creating mechanics that not only help patients, but also help the professionals do their job more efficiently and effectively.

In the future I would like to progress further at Herga and be the best i can be.”

Herga continues with the training and development of apprentices that supports the ongoing strategic staff development, helping to reduce risk, maximise site quality and manage costs as well as provide structure to new product development on time.

Paul K Edwards – Head of Engineering and Quality says “I’m so pleased Bradley has joined Herga and we all really look forward to his ongoing development and contribution in Engineering and beyond. Bradley is now working on his Performing Engineering Operations Technical Support Level 2, hoping to complete in 2019. The development of new talent into Herga is really important for our successful future and new product realisation. Good luck Bradley!”
