As part of our vast range of switches, buttons and controls we have a selection of Bluetooth® Footswitches.

Our Bluetooth footswitch range includes both single and multipedal switches as well as transmitters all working on a power friendly Bluetooth Smart Closed Network.

Bluetooth ® Footswitch Advantages

Why use a Bluetooth® footswitch? There are many advantages as to why a Bluetooth® footswitch could be used over a standard footswitch.

• Tidiness - going wire-free makes working space less cluttered with tangled wires
• Range - you don’t need to be next to the machine to be able to operate it. Our Bluetooth® Footswitches have a 10m range
• Flexibility - because there are no wires and because of the range available, you can pick the footswitch up and move it to another area of the room and it will continue to function correctly

Features of our Bluetooth® Footswitch Range

Our Bluetooth® Footswitch range has the following features to ensure they are well suited to many different applications:

• Latency of less than 100 milliseconds - there will not be a delay from compression of the switch to function required
• LED assisted pairing procedure for straight forward set up
• Battery status indication
• Sleep function - footswitch will time out after 15 to 60 mins (user choice) to conserve battery life
• Long battery life - up to 1000 hours of continuous use
• Up to 8 switching functions available.
• IP67 as standard
• UL 60601-1 approval for medical use (see individual product data sheets for more information)
• Custom Label options available on request
• Custom colours available on request
• The Herga Bluetooth Smart Receiver can pair with a maximum of 2 footswitches at one time.
