Herga Technology at Compamed 2016

This year, we have exhibited at Compamed 2016 part of the Medica Trade Fair.

We have visited this show for nearly 20 years, it is one of the biggest exhibitions we are part of and we always find it well worth going to.

Last year, we shared our stand 50:50 with our sister company Variohm Eurosensor, this year our stand was focused almost completely towards Herga but featured some Variohm products, this was beneficial as many of our products are focused towards the medical industry.

Attention Grabbing Herga Products at Compamed 2016

Our Bluetooth footswitches tend to get a lot of attention every year at Compamed. These are widely used in medical applications. They have a 10 m range and typical latency of less than 100 milliseconds. The footswitch and receiver system can be used with up to two transmitting switching devices, each with up to eight switch functions.  These footswitches have a simple LED assisted pairing procedure allowing straightforward set-up whilst the LED display also provides battery status indication. The range also features a user-selectable sleep function that allows a choice of 15 or 60 minutes timeout for further battery conservation - with ‘auto-wake from sleep’ reconnection on the press of the pedal. The separate receiver PCB requires 0 – 5V DC at 100mA and has active low output switching.

Our new multi pedal footswitches also generated lots of interest at the show. We have some new products coming in 2017 – it was great to discuss these with our visitors and take their input on board. These will be coming to our website soon.

We had some interesting discussions and high quality enquiries about our range of products. This year, Compamed was 4 days instead of the usual 3, however, our stand was just as busy and we had a steady flow of visitors throughout the 4 days.
