Airswitches

Air Switches have been part of our product range for many years. Many of their applications are in wet environments; using an air switch means that the electrics are not near the switch itself, this makes it safe for the user to activate the switch with wet hands/feet. 

The switch will send a puff or sip of air down some PVC tubing which will activate the electric circuit.  

Some of the most common applications which use air switches are 

Spa Jacuzzi controls - to switch the bubbles on/off; the user will be in the pool so it’s important that the switch is not electrical  

Toilet flushes - you may have seen a Herga air switch on a public toilet to activate the flush. 

Gymnasium/ health club shower systems - our push button switches have been selected for use in shower systems in gymnasiums. They are used to switch the water on.
