Herga at Compamed Medica 2017

As we have done now for well over a decade, Herga attended this years’ Compamed Medica show in Dusseldorf Germany.

Compamed is the biggest medical based show in the world; many of our products are used within the medical industry which is why this is such a big show for us.

This year we were able to exhibit 2 of our new products, the 625x Heavy Duty Footswitch and our Modular Base System.

625x Footswitch – this is a durable footswitch for heavy duty applications within the medical industry, the stylish and ergonomic design meets IEC 60601-1 standard. There is a guard option available for added protection.

Modular Base System – this new base system combines our standard electrical switches with our puck switches and is available in a range of configurations to suit different applications in many industries including the medical industry. Datasheets for standard configurations can be found on our website.

Our range of Bluetooth products were also very popular at Compamed this year. These run on a smart closed network and have a very long battery life.

What we like about Compamed

As always, one of our favourite parts about attending Compamed is to catch up with existing customers and to meet up with some of our distributors from around the world.

This year Paul Edwards, our Engineering Manager attended the show, this was his second visit to Compamed, he says “I enjoyed this years show; The interaction with our customers, competitors and other suppliers is great. The show has such a diverse range of products and technologies the time meeting others and discussing ideas and projects was really good. The show also had presentations by companies on some of the new changes in legislation and technologies that was very appealing to Herga for the new Medical device regulations.”
