Why we chose Further Development Training

In order to achieve the launch of products, our engineers all take the lead in the planning and implementation of many different elements of the development gate cycle and so the team realised further training and support from the company would benefit them all.

Oak Tree Management & Training Ltd supplied training specifically aligned to the intricacies of the business and the individuals taking part over the two day course and definitely supported the needs of the team.

Being able to successfully manage projects on time and juggling all those other day to day unexpected events that happen in a manufacturing environment was really important to the team. Aligned to our Gate Process thinking, the training gave each person those real life tools needed to manage every task and minimise risk.

The training supports the continued strategic staff development programme, helping to reduce risk, maximise site quality and manage costs as well as provide structure to new product development on time.

Paul K Edwards – Head of Engineering and Quality says “Our culture of continuous improvement does not just specifically look at products, it also looks at the development of our staff and allowing them to explore new ideas and tools for managing multiple project demands, thus creating a systematic approach to our customer expected deliverables. I’m really pleased to see all of the team complete their training and look forward to seeing how they use their new skills within the business.”
