Patient Hoists

You may have seen an overhead hoist if you have been in a hospital or care home, they are used to move patients in and out of bed carefully easily and safely. Our 6451 hand control switch is used to control the movement of the hoist.

Our 6451 hand control is available with 2, 4 or 6 soft touch buttons. It is water proof and has an ergonomic design which makes it perfect for being used as a control for overhead hoists. Door Controls

Infrared technology is one of the wireless technologies we offer for our products. The 6310 IR hand control is often used for door controls. A wireless hand control is useful for workers driving heavy machinery like forklifts; they can use the hand control to open the building door without leaving the machinery, this saves time and is very convenient.

Our 6310 and 6311 Infrared hand control transmitters have a choice of 1, 2, 4 or 8 channels and are available as compact or heavy duty switches. See the 6310 and 6311 data sheet for more information.

Bath or Stair Lift Operations

Another top application for our hand controls is the operation of bath lifts and stair lifts. Bath and stair lifts tend to be used in the home or in hospitals. The hand control moves the actuator which, in turn, moves the seat carrying the user to ensure that they safely travel up and down the stairs or in and out of the bath. This application is popular among our customers. Our 6450 hand control or 6310 elec are both proven in these applications and are great choices.

The 6450 hand control needs only a light operating force and has large soft buttons for ease of use. The 6310 elec has an ergonomic design and is lightweight.
