Alan Disbery Moves to Herga Technology

We have some exciting news regarding our sales team. As part of Herga being integrated into Variohm Holdings, Alan Disbery our former Variohm weighing salesman has moved over to Herga products and is now the Herga Sales Manager.

Alan’s Progression within Variohm Holdings.

Alan has been working at Variohm Eurosensor since 2008. He started off as one of the position sales men. After four years of working in this role, Alan took on the challenge of moving to becoming the Load Cells salesman.  Now, three years later, Alan’s career is progressing further within the Variohm Holdings group and he has now been given the responsibility of becoming the Herga Sales Manager.

Alan is currently completing an NVQ in team leading, giving him all the training he requires in his transition to becoming a manager.

Alan’s New Role

Alan’s new job role will involve working within a team of experienced and knowledgeable people with the drive and passion to help customers find the right product for the right application. 

The aim of his new role is to develop sales with both current and new customers. It will also involve exploring where current Herga products fit into the market place and where new products may be of interest.

Alan is really looking forward to the challenge ahead. Working for a manufacturing company will be the biggest difference for Alan as opposed to a distribution company like Variohm Eurosensor . Alan says “Within a sales environment the key is to increase sales and continue to offer the right product at a good price and offer the quality our customers have come to depend on.”
