Export Training at Herga.

You may have read about the Export Training that took place at Variohm last month. This was part of a group training exercise; the second session was held here at Herga in April 2015.

We find it very useful to offer our employees training on the job. Having the most up-to-date skills required for their job roles means that the organisation can function efficiently across all departments.

The Purpose of the Training.

The purpose of the Export training was to ensure that our warehouse team know exactly what documentation is required for shipments being despatched to different countries. The training will result in a faster despatch process with no mistakes when it comes to documentation.

The Export training involved looking into documentation such as; commercial invoices, Import entry, tariff codes, European Community Certificate of origin, Arab Certificate of origin, ATR documents, EUR1 movements certificates and C88 for importing and distributing goods.

About the Export Training.

The course was delivered by Margaret Chadwick fromNorthamptonshire Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Chadwick Export services.

This session was attended by Alan Gilbert, the Variohm Stores Manager, Mitchell, Gemma and John, members of the Variohm warehouse team. Tracy, from our customer service department here at Herga, and Paul, one of the members of our sales team.

The course was tailored to our needs meaning that we found every section beneficial.

This was our second training session and we have found both days to be equally useful. The first was held at Variohm Eurosensor office in Towcester Northants, you can read about the first training day on Variohm’s blog.
